Schools provided SAT scores at the 25th and 75th percentile (middle 50 percent band) for admitted freshmen. The SAT test has three components: critical reading, math and writing. When the writing section was added to the SAT in 2005, the total number of points that can be earned increased from 1600 to 2400.
